New and active users are the audience widgets in the Audience & Revenue category of the Dashboard. Both count unique people over the selected time range.
Metrics
Section titled “Metrics”| Widget | Measures |
|---|---|
| New Users | Unique new sign-ups in the period. Tracks user-base growth. |
| Active Users | Unique users who interacted with the product in the period. Reflects engagement. |
The Active Users widget has a granularity selector in its header — DAU, WAU, or MAU — and its title follows the selection (for example, “Daily Active Users” when DAU is selected). It shows the average for the period with a trend against the previous average (for example, “637 Avg DAU · +44.7%”) alongside the total unique users (for example, “4,405 Total”), either as an area chart over time or as a KPI summary. Change the time range to widen or narrow the window, and use the funnel filter to scope to a segment.
